A STORY OF
RENEWAL
The opening of Britannia Village marks the final step
in a decades-long effort to reclaim and renew the
historic mining town of Britannia Beach. It began with
an innovative project to clean runoff from what was
once the largest copper mine in the British Empire,
followed by the creation of a vibrant new community
of 197 single-family homes and 73 townhomes.
Now complete, Britannia Village features shops,
restaurants, and services housed in nine original mine
town buildings—each carefully restored and upgraded
to modern safety standards, creating a one-of-a-kind
destination on the Sea to Sky
Britannia Village brings new life to the storied town of Britannia Beach, with a vibrant collection of shops,
restaurants, and services set within beautifully restored buildings up to a century old.
Come explore, shop, dine in this one-of-a-kind destination.
